Having secured two Orphan Drug Designations (ODD) from the EMA for two active substances in new therapeutic indications with its Italian sister company GB Pharma, 3B Biotech has also adopted the same business model centred on ‘repurposing’ opportunities and is proceeding with the application to Swissmedic for the same two drugs
